then who would? just parents, alumni/ae and administrators? we get too few replies as it is

Hmm quick reply, but whats the use of high schoolers giving opinions anyway?

nomad, i love you

what are my chances threads don't annoy me, arrogant perfect applications what are my chanes posters do annoy me

parents don't know much more than the kids, and I know plenty of cc kids who know more than some parents

checking out competition jk

if someone gets in, i'm sure they can offer good advice on chances and/or areas of improvement. you've never posted a chances thread wanting to know the opinion of others'?

1 case doesn't prove anything. I don't care if you got in to stanford with a 1400 SAT, a mediocre essay, pretty good EC's, or anything else. 1 case proves nothing at all. People act like just because they got in with certain stats, so will other people. If you want to know if you're in the ballpark range check out collegeboard, they have middle 50% range for most colleges in the US

Lol USNA too bad i am living in Arizona.

Secondly, you can see your competition in the RD roster threads.

Thirdly, I agree with celebrian, recent admits can only help as much as what ll things they did in order to get admitted ( ecs tough course load etc), no way they have enough information to give opionions on the process.
