<p>Do i have to wait to submit my application to see if i qualify? For the csu i was able to see if i qualified before i submitted. So i saved my application n saved up money. Im hopeing i can do the same with the UC app. I kind of want to check asap if i qualify to see how much i need to save.</p>
<p>You can check to see if you qualify for the fee waiver without submitting. On the first page of the admissions, you can click on “Start Submission Process”. You have to fill a few more sections, but not much. Then you’ll get to the part where it’ll tell you how much you owe depending on how many campuses you applied. Below that you’ll see a button that says something like “Apply for fee waiver”. You click it and you’ll know immediately if you got approved or not.</p>
<p>Don’t worry about getting too far into the application and submitting it by accident. You’ll get a very obtrusive pop up asking “Confirm Your Choice Are you sure you are ready to submit your application?”</p>
<p>Nah you don’t need to submit it since there’s an option for it. I will say this, I haven’t met anyone who qualified for a CSU waiver that didn’t also get the UC waiver or vice versa. If you get one you get the other.</p>
