if i do a lot of clubs

ok say i do like 3 or 4 clubs...does that make my college application look a lot better or it doesnt really matter that much

Depends on …

-What clubs they are
-How competitive it is
-If any awards won
-If any significant/famous people are involved
-Your position
-Your skill
-Your time dedicated
-Your high school in question
-What the adcoms think
-The college you’re applying to
-The rest of your application
-How you plan on “positioning” yourself (ex. science person would focus on science clubs)

It probably doesn’t matter much unless you achieve something significant, from policy changes to fundraising to doing something nationally recognized. Even if you are an officer, it might not make a huge difference.

Ok well say i have a 3.4 gpa weighted
-1800 on sat
-2 years wrestling 1 year of baseball/track(dnt know which one ima do yet)
-taking college level spanish right now
-1 AP got a C
-play guitar 3 years in school class
-volunteer at a fire department
-1 job
-key club(community service)
-yearbook club
-World language club
-mathletes
would the clubs like greatly increase my chances of getting into like Stony brook University or University at Buffalo or St. Johns or something
