If i end up with 59 units...

With letter grades and 5 units with Cr (P/no pass classes) for a total of 64 with all my pre reqs done, (5 units are some bs classes im taking) can i still transfer with the 60 minimum limit?

Cred/No Credit classes are usually looked down upon in UC's, but each UC's standards varies accordingly.

If I were you I'd get in touch with whatever UC's I applied to and inquire them about this as soon as humanly possible.

Regardless of whether they are looked down upon you will meet the required amount of units which I'm sure is your real concern.

Well, if the class is unaccounted for by the UC's, then he will therefore not meet the 60 minimum limit. Again, may want to clarify this dilemma with a counselor.

Vyruz,

Taking a class for a letter grade or pass/no pass is fine (within limits that you are certainly still within), as long as your 60 are UC transferable. You can verify that they are transferable by visiting Welcome to ASSIST

For admission purposes no more than 14 semester (21 quarter) units may be taken Pass/No Pass. We do not recommend taking pass/No Pass courses because if not planned correctly they could cause issues with your graduation requirements.

In addition to what everyone else has said, you generally can not take Pre-Requisites as Credit/No Credit (Pass/Fail).

youre fine as long as you have 60+ overall uc

Does anyone here by any chance, know if there is a unit limit for UCLA? If you have only attended a cc is there a unit limit? I've heard its around 70 is this correct?

System wide, we are only able to transfer a maximum of 70 semester (105) quarter units towards your degree from two year colleges. Please understand that this is units only, you will still receive course credit for all courses completed.

Ok so if i go over the 70 unit mark in order to finish the language portion for IGETC, would that be fine?

yessssssss
