If I fail a class, must the college know?

I'm planning to transfer schools, from Cal State East Bay, to Sacramento State after I have 90 transferable units. I also plan on changing my major to computer engineering next quarter which is completely unrelated to my major now, pre-nursing. To catch up, I plan on taking Chemistry, Calculus, and Physics all at the same time during this summer at a community college. Now, my question is, if I was to fail one of these classes, does my university have to know? If I was to pass, let's say one of them, could I only let that one be known. I do not want to risk ruining my GPA and my chances of transferring.

When you apply to a school you are required to send transcripts from all previous college enrollments.

A transcript contains all grades taken at that school, you can’t select certain grades to send.

Colleges find your previous enrollments here:

And if you plan on attending a CCC this summer, it would be extremely foolhardy to try to hide grades from another school in the CA public college & university system.

Thanks for the help!
