If I get C's in AP classes senior year, am I screwed?

I applied to the UC’s over the weekend and I’m worried about that the fact that I have C+'s in AP Calc and AP Physics. I could possibly get the Calc grade up but I have no clue with Physics. I’ve had a 4.25 GPA for 10-11 and have never had lower than a B.

Do the UC’s take into consideration the difficulty of these classes or do they completely disregard class and focus on the letter grade? I’m afraid of my application being rescinded.

I have As in the rest of my classes, by the way.

Thanks for any advice.

I don’t think they look at grades for senior year.

@LordBendtner Technically, they do. But it’s only if you’re chosen for augmented review, and then the end of the year report where they check to see if you failed.

The UC’s will look at Senior grades to maintain your provisional admission. For all the UC’s except UCB/UCLA, the provisional admission contract states you need to maintain a 3.0 unweighted GPA for Senior year. For UCB/UCLA, you need to maintain a 3.0 weighted with no more than 2 C’s. Do your best to get those grades up.
