IF i get deferred, can i send in jan sat 2 scores?

they say when you get deferred, youre put in the regular pile, so does that mean you can send in jan scores?

Yes, you may. It’s a good idea to let MIT know they’re coming so they’ll wait to re-read your application until your new scores are in.

Doesn’t MIT already wait until February before reading? Since that’s when the midyear report is due.

Just as with EA, they’ll start reading applications as they’re completed. They start reading in January and continue reading through the first half of February, then start RD selection around Valentine’s Day.

uh, mollie, how do i actually let them know ill be taking the jan sat? xD

You can send them a note via mail. You could also send one via email, if you’d prefer.

I was just curious about this – do most schools allow for submission of further scores (I know they usually allow for some other application materials at least) after the EA deadline in case of deferral? Or at least, significantly many?
