"If I get into Cornell..."

I remember the song I was listening to when I was read my acceptance. Looking back, I wish I hadn't been listening to such a godawful song. If you guys listen to music perpetually, like I do, make sure you're listening to a cool song, which you will forever associate with your acceptance to Cornell. I will not share with you what song I was listening to, so don't ask, lol.

what song? plz.

When I look up my decision I'll be listening to old school Dr. Dre

me... I'll be listening to '18 and Life' By Skid Row... what a band!!!. If I get rejected or deferred, I'll at least I'll have a great song to cheer me up.

lol, or you'll associate a great song with rejection/deferrment.

Isnt that what 18 and life's about? That'll happen to me if I get rejected. Yep, 18 and life.

btw, if i get into cornell, I plan on doing donuts in the high school parking lot

I just read the 18 and Life lyrics. Depressing... but I know I'll also feel that way come decisions time.

Hahah I hope donuts aren't against the rules. It'd suck to get suspended/expelled for endangering students...

i'm just kiddin'.

but i do want to put new rims on my car if i get accepted.

what car you drive baykin ;)

97' celica gt

lol. it had nice stock rims, but until i get a flat tire replaced i have to ride on the spare tire. but if i get in, i want some chrome

If I get into Cornell I'll consider myself a sucess for life.

On the other hand, if I get rejected...

I probably won't know how to live on, and I'm really not exaggerating.

i have to say Dec 15 is not a good date to release decision....it is the first day of my xmas holiday............=.=////

Who knows, maybe you'll walk away with a very awesome gift! ;)

Always the optimist, I know. heh The sad thing is that I do it for my own sake. =P

I can't wait to go to college. I now hate driving cuz of two accidents (that aren't even my fault!) and a traffic ticket. I have to drive everryydayyyy. Grrr. I want nothing more than a convenient bus system.

...in Ithaca, NY. Hahah.

If I get into Cornell I'll be very happy, and I'll have accomplished something very special.

Bump... now that it's getting so close what other plans do you have if you get accepted. What kinds of crazy plans do you have or what plans do you have if you get rejected. Everyone has to be thinking of something. What did people do last year when the news came in? If I get accepted I'm skipping school on friday and spending the weekend at Cornell at a friends dorm and with everyone else I can find that got accepted and drinking so much I don't remember I was accepted. If I get rejected I'll probably stay home on friday and eat a lot of ice cream/ finish my other college apps which I have basically not started at all yet. . . Ahhh we're so close.

Oh gosh, I'm going crazy-- just read Columbia/Dar's ED results, and I'm so nervous! If I get in, I'm going to go crazy calling friends and relatives, and then out for a celebration with my friends. And order crazy Cornell accessories/clothing, perhaps make a t-shirt with a witty acceptance slogan on it...

Deferred? Cry, work on my this-has-to-get-me-into-Cornell plan and I s'pose other applications... ;_;

Rejected? Cry. A lot. Try to find a new dream school?

I'm generally relatively calm about this, but goodness-- six days left? This is crazy!

same I would say 99% of my thoughts in any given day are now about Cornell and even like 5 days ago I thought about Cornell basically never. I was just happy I had finished the whole application and interview process.

I'll think I have a chance at getting into another Ivy lol.

I figured getting drunk works for all three options...celebrate, drink away the sorrow of rejection/ambiguity of deferral
