<p>Unless this class shows up on your HS transcript, it won’t matter. Only A’s (and sometimes) A-'s though count as 4.0’s. A B+ counts as a 3.33 in GPA calculations.</p>
<p>The exact numbers your grade will count for in terms of your gpa are school-specific, so I would check with your school.</p>

<p>I think you won’t be able to. You would have to get a 3.995 overall to get it to round up to 4.0.</p>
<p>At our school, the 8th grade honors alg counted as a high school course, therefore it was part of the HS transcript and GPA. So yes, a 4.0 unweigted GPA can be wrecked by an 8th grade B+. Check with your GC for the details of your school’s transcript policy.</p>
