If I got a 58% on my SSAT's

Don’t be so negative about Kent, Mylovelybones. Ross is a good school that is known to teach in an unconventional way. Kent will be receptive if your recs are good. However, if you are applying for financial aid, it will be much harder this year to get in unless you are a minority.

Why would you withdraw your application from SPS? None of us here actually know exactly how the admission staff decides who gets in and who doesn’t, so don’t take it too seriously when people say that you won’t get accepted to school X. Personally, I know one girl in my form, at SPS, that got a 48% overall on the SSAT. I got around 60% in math on mine. Both of us got accepted. I do think that you should retake the SSAT, and if you have a chance, explain to the schools that you’re a bad test taker but are actually good at math. But don’t withdraw your application, that’s insane. You might as well wait and see what happens. A bad SSAT score will not kill your chances.

Some admin officers said the ssat score isn’t even that important. It’s just a formality.

exactly. SSATs are just for the admin officers to see if you can handle the work. not really big.
