If I was admitted to a UC for fall 2013, all I have to do is maintain a C or higher for this semester right?

No, you have to maintain your overall GPA at a certain level depending on the requirement of your school. For example, if you have a 3.1 GPA and their requirement for admittance is 3.0, let’s say you get 3 Bs and 1 C, your GPA is now probably below 3.0. Your admittance contract is thus void and null.

Do not get a C!!!

Check the provisional contract. For UCSD, they require that I maintain at least a 3.0 overall. For UCSC and UCSB, they just want me to get at least a C in all my courses.

@water That’s if the contract states to maintain above a 3.0. If it says just to get C’s and he’s at 3.0, you would still be accepted even if your GPA goes below a 3.0.

What Mermaker said

They give you conditions. But, for UCI they want me to keep B in my one pre-req class, and at least 2.0 spring semester, 3.7 overall gpa.

Where can I find this info. I got accepted to UCSB - it said to maintain my overall GPA but nothing specific

@anaval I have the same question, can anybody please explain this?

I believe you have to maintain a 3.0 for the semester if you are planning to attend UCLA or Cal.
