If I got into a UC and rejected it, but am reapplying, will this lower my chances of getting in?

<p>Sorry for the really bad discussion title -- it kept truncating it because it was too long.</p>

<p>So my story: I went to a 2-year community college and applied for entrance into the UC system this year, and I got into a few. This is completely my fault for not realizing earlier, but this year I discovered that I want to go into nursing, not pharmacy like I previous planned. So if I rejected the UCs, and reapplied next year to get into their nursing BS programs, would this significantly lower my chances of getting in?</p>

<p>I would doubt it. Things come up to interfere with college plans. I’ll defer to people who have experience with the Cal systems.</p>
