LOL @ThePowerofOne, I was gonna say that…Caltech especially is supposed to be the hardest college to get into since they accept so little students “lower than a 1000?”

I’m assuming he is a ■■■■■. His stats are way below the average stats for those schools, not to mention his account name is “mentirosa,” Spanish for LIAR!

lol we will never know :(. Really thats wat it means in spanish o.o?

Your remarks are so rude. I don’t need to put with these atrocious words. The cacophony of the word “■■■■■” is immature and is rather childish. Cualquier! Good luck going to UCR or UCM.

Everyone is so bitter, we should all calm down and just worry about ourselves.

hahhaha forreallll.

I would say you have a good chance to get in, but since they are doing the wait list thing it might be a bit harder this year.

To all of you who are worried about going to UCR or UCM: You can go there and come out ahead of many who go to UCLA or UCB. Its about how you use the resources that are at those colleges that will matter, and how hard you work. I know a friend who is going to UCR for bio and is doing extremely well in his classes. He is gonna get into a bunch of med schools if he keeps up his good work.

The only thing that I would worry about at UCR is the heat and the sun. If UCR was closer to the coast, I would have gone there for sure. They have great programs.

UCM, imagine you being the top of the class from UCM. That will look like gold on your resume, and you will probably know **** loads of professors on their first name bases 20 years down the line. Trust me, if you go to ANY UC you have the resources to succeed.

If you have anal parents to deal with, go to a community college and transfer to a “prestigious” school after a couple of years. It won’t make a difference.

So, if you get in…good for you. If you don’t…don’t worry if you work hard you will come out ahead in the end.

Cheers, Good luck to all.

mentirosa=■■■■■.
No way he made it into Cal Tech and Stanford, unless he’s a major URM or an athlete.

Well put yasuynnuf1947, that really just made my day
I was fortunately accepted to UCI but rejected from UCLA, I am planning on going to Cal Poly SLO next year, but UCSB is one of the few schools I would change my mind for
Good luck guys! You know where I will be at 4pm today

well put, but between a ucla and a ucr graduate , who would you employ…not trying to start anything, but I’d be happy with whatever UC I get into, so that’s that

^honestly, in the long run it doesnt matter where you graduated from. The person from UCLA could totally be some air head dumb@$$ who got lucky, where as an individual from UCR can be really hardworking, and just unfortunate.
The place from where you got your degree doesnt matter, it’s how you are personally. Your character, and how you carry yourself
That being said, I believe we should all start praying right now hahaha

omg im freaaaaking outtt sagjklfa;gj haha longest 15 minutes of my life

wow, overflow…

YOU CAN! =D
cuz i just got into UCSB after getting rejected from UCi

Thanks for the input but another rejection.
UCR it is.

@ahnyoungs2 aw well, UCR’s pretty good don’t worry =] i’m sure you’ll have fun there too

Dude you have way higher stats than me. I have a 3.3 UC GPA and got in UCSB. You have a very good chance, don’t worry.
