If I major in math, what careers could I go into?

Just a word of advice. High school Math is very different from College Math. College Math is very demanding. I am a Mathematics major, and I must say I have found 3-4 of my classes very very challenging. There are so many things that can be done with Math. Almost anything. Just like someone said earlier, just get a good GPA, and you would be very marketable. Probability and Statistics are very important classes. You can have a career on wallstreet as well as in the pharmaceutical industry. You can work in engineering firms, or in insurance firms. i could go on for days........

college math is surprisingly much more difficult. alot of people switch majors.

I posted this on another thread. It is intended as an example. I was on the CNA insurance website, careers and the following position was listed. NOW it is not a job for straight out fo college, but it gives you an idea of a possible job. I was doing reseach for an investment, just a random find--there are dozens of these
