If I miss the GRE test date, can I reschedule within the next couple of days?

I couldn't take the test I registered for this Wednesday (I didn't show up) because a family issue. Can I still take the test next week?
I know that one can take GRE once every 21 days. But I am not sure if it applies to my situation, because I didn't take the test at all. I have checked the website, and it says "The 21 days rule applies even if you canceled your scores on a test taken previously", but I think my situation is a bit different, because I didn't cancel the test or score.

Please help me because It's a holiday, on one will pick up my phone:(
Thank you very much!

You should be able to reschedule, but I’m almost positive you will have to pay for the exam again.

So the 21 days rule doesn’t apply to my situation, right?

I encountered the similar situation. I registered for the test on 12/1 and I failed to present a valid ID. The administrator said that I could still take the test as practice but my score wouldn’t be sent to ETS since I’m not a qualified test-taker. Does the 21-days policy apply to my situation? I already sent an e-mail to ETS but haven’t heard from them back :frowning:

Pretty sure the 21 days still applies.
