<p>Thanks, I actually hadn’t read it closely enough to have noticed you outlined the foundational traits of an MIT student. </p>

<p>The major unique thing that stands out to me is that you can demonstrate that you’d be a good fit for MIT in terms of these traits through things you’ve done well outside of math and science. This is an interesting theory, and it’d be fascinating to see what studies MIT did to come to believe in this way of looking at things, because on first thought, one would wonder – can we really correlate all kinds of creativity + work-ethic with each other (for instance, because someone sits it out through grueling practice for a team sport, does it imply they’ll sit it out through chemistry class), and how is the creativity of an artist similar to the creativity of a math/science student.</p>
