If I only have merit aid posted on Gibson, should I assume I'm not getting need aid?

I got the presidential scholarship to Tulane but I was kind of hoping I'd get need-based aid too as it's still a little price-y for me.

Also, Gibson is telling me I have financial aid terms and conditions to accept. If I accept them, does that mean I have to go to Tulane?

others have asked the same question; I don’t think you are committed until you actually send the deposit.

From what other people have said, they posted the merit first then posted the need based. I think that they are still posting need based, as I know others haven’t heard yet.

You absolutely are not committed, you are just saying that you accept the terms and conditions IF you attend. Also, you will probably still get more aid. They are still posting people’s aid packages. Everyone’s scholarship amounts are posted, but only some people have had the rest of the package post so far. They are behind because of a new computer program that has a glitch. Be patient. If you don’t see it by the end of the week, call financial aid. They will probably be cranky by then, but call anyway. But give it a week first. You don’t have to decide until May 1. I know you are anxious to make a decision and move on, but don’t do anything rash.

BTW, no college can make you go there.
