If I see one more financial aid form I think I'm gonna spit!

Sorry, but I have to vent...

1) 3 FAFSAs using estimated figures
2) 3 Profiles using estimated figures
3) 3 corrected FAFSAs
4) 3 hand corrected Profiles
5) 6 more FAFSAs
6) 6 more Profiles
7) 4 Verification Forms (so far)
8) 1 FAFSA renewal
9) 1 Profile renewal
10) 1 IDOC
11) 1 Study Away Cost Verification Form

and signed copies upon copies upon copies of 1040s, schedules, w-2s, etc. for parents and 2 kids.

I hope I haven't forgotten anything!

hey sweet Baboo (love that name)

Reading from your list, you almost have your own version of the 12 days of chistmas. Take heart, it will get better (or from your list you have no where to go up up :) )

The upside is that the profile stuff is a one time event, you will just send new forms through the idoc.

Hang in there a little while longer

Yeah, once the student is in, it is just one school's worth of forms, per student, per year. And due later in the spring.

That's what we thought too...because it was the case with DS. BUT check the schools. DD's finaid renewal deadline date was Feb 1. I would have missed it if I hadn't called them about something else, and happened to ask. We did estimates on Jan 1 and updated at the beginning of Feb.
