If I took the SAT before and got...

a 580 CR, 550 Math, and 640 Writing for a total of 1770,

If I took it again and focused SOLELY on one section (ex: Math), and I performed MUCH LOWER on, say, writing, but I improved 100 points on math...

ex.

Test 2

580 CR
650 Math
590 Writing

Would that be beneficial to me?

Would they ONLY take the highest scores I ever got in each section of the SAT, or would colleges look at all my scores and look down at me?

Would they see my SAT score as 580 CR and 640 Writing from TEST 1, + 650 Math from TEST 2= 1870

OR...

TEST 1 total= 1770
and
TEST 2 total= 1820

Haha, don't worry, I'm sure you will improve. I didn't do too much better on my second practice test
1st practice:
580- M
580- CR
510- W

2nd Practice
640- M
630- CR
630- W
