I started freshman year at Maryland for engineering and declined Rutgers Engineering program then transferred to CC since I no longer wanted it that major. I will be finishing Liberal arts degree and was accepted to Monmouth Univer and Rutgers SAS for spring 2018 .Since I really want to start on my Accounting degree I am deciding to go to Monmouth since I would have to wait till Fall for admissions to business school and since its a competitive admissions I didn’t want to transfer to Rutgers and then not get accepted. So at least I can start at the Monmouth business school in the interim.
So my question is will Rutgers frown upon me rejecting their offer if I decide to re-apply for Fall 2018 if Monmouth doesn’t work out. I plan on having all gateway courses finish. Right now I have GPA 3.96. Or should I accept Rutgers and hope for the best. I was a little concerned if my GPA slipped I would ruin my chances all together.
