<p>The UC schools all give full credit for classes taken at other UCs. Not only that, the GPA transfers too; if you come from any other school they just transfer units but not grades. You can find all about this by reading about transferring on the UCI website. The main UC site also says

Thebest choice, if you want to get into UCI, is to do your sophomore year at a CC and enroll in the Transfer Guarantee program. Meet a certain GPA requirement and list of classes and you are promised acceptance! Read thru the info on the UCI website carefully to understand all the conditions, and note the guarantee is not available for all majors including not available for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.</p>
