If i was to send the first marking period grade,,

Hello, I applied to Hopkins under ED.

I received my first marking period grade a week ago, and I am thinking to

send this report card so that it can be added on my application file.

I am gonna ask my guidance couselor to fax that on Monday

when I go back to school. Daniel, do you prefer sending the report card by

mail or fax? and will this be reviewed on time if I do that on monday?

Thanks,

It can be faxed, but an official copy should also be mailed by your school. And since it will arrive prior to Nov. 30, yes it will be added to your file and reviewed for ED.

should we all be sending our quarter grades in when we get them for ED reviewing? is it mandatory and does the school send them to jhu automatically?

it's not mandatory, and your school most likely will not send them automatically. they are sent electively on a case-by-case basis. in some cases, however, the admissions office will request the school to send first quarter grades.

basically, if you think it is important they see them, you should ask your GC to send them.

that's the answer ... no need for me to add anything.

thank you!
