If I was waitlisted, will the school keep my application for a year so I can transfer

<p>Northwestern closed their waitlist but encouraged me to apply as a transfer student in the fall of 2011.</p>

<p>Some schools keep your application open for a year(2 semesters). So yes you can apply as a transfer, you also do not have to pay the applicaion fee. Just call them and tell them to reactivate your application. O and you have to send your transcripts.</p>
