if i were to go to ACC, can i live in the UT dorms?

is it possible?

No, because they don’t even have enough room for their own students, at least at the beginning of the year.

You can live in the private dorm Towers. There are a few kids living there who go to other schools. It would give you a chance to make friends with other freshman. You should know know that Towers reputation as a social party dorm is based in truth. It is also geared to Greek life.

I would assume that Dobie and Castillian also would take ACC students, though I do not have proof positive.

thank you very much!

socaldad42 is right. The school dorms is a no but all the private ones around campus are open to ACC students. I actually have multiple friends who are going to ACC and staying at Towers. Some are even rooming with UT students.

That area is a very reasonable distance to the ACC Rio Grande campus. You can take either the UT shuttle (ER will get you there from Dobie) or the city buses for free.
