If if accept the waitlist offer from UCSC, does it effect my other waitlist at UCSD or UCI?

I am a freshman. I got off waitlist from UC Santa Cruz. If i accept it, does it effect my other waitlists that still didn’t release the results? I am on the waitlist for UCI, and am not sure if accepting UCSC would effect my other waitlists. What do you think?

Answered this on the UCSD waitlist discussion, but no if you accept UCSC, it will not effect your chances at the other UC’s. However, every time you change to another school, you will lose that enrollment deposit. UC’s are independent of each other and do not coordinate decisions.

Plus, you need to decide if you want Irvine or San Diego more than Santa Cruz. They are very different schools. Personally, I think going to school at UCSC would be idyllic, but that’s just me.
