If I'm not good at taking AP tests...

Do AP tests reflect how well I will do in a college? I noticed that I can pass the AP class with an A or B, but when I take the test I usually get a 2 (which is the equivalent of a D).
I’m wondering would this affect how well I would do in certain colleges? Are the tests similiar to AP tests, etc? I noticed I’m horrible at studying for major multiple tests within two weeks… also if I chose not to submit my AP scores is that okay?

I think AP tests are supposed to be a better indicator of your performance in college than your grade in the class, as the class can suffer greatly from grade inflation. You can pick and choose what AP scores to send, or send none at all.

Maybe work at changing your study habits.

@Frigidcold If I send none at all will that reflect poorly on me? Also I’m trying to change my study habits, but I tend to focus on one thing at once…because all these tests were happening at once, ACT classes were still going on, and extracurricular activities I sort of slipped under the pressure and was unable to bring everything back up. I’m not trying to make an excuse…I just don’t know where to start.

They really only ask for scores after acceptance to gauge credit and placement. I don’t think they would penalize you for not sending them.
