If I'm not into partying at all

…would I hate it here?

you just have to find your niche. i'm not into partying either, but i have found friends that aren't into that scene either. on weekends i either watch a movie in the lounge, go out into boston and explore, or go out to watch a movie. there are many options to have fun on weekends. like i said, you just have to find the right crowd of people.

I'm not into partying too much. You will able abke to find other people like you at BC, although you might have to make an effort to find them. I suggest living on sub-free freshmen year if you don't plan to drink.

Do we really have a reputation as a major Animal-house kind of university? Like miragemage and classic, I don't drink. I've found a lot of friends who either don't drink or not to the point where they'll be puking on my carpet. There is a good chunk of the BC population who drinks, but they don't go bat-sit crazy over it. If you want some serious partying, Umass-Amherst is the place. I didn't think I would get out of their alive last time I visited.

BC's party scene is nothing compared to state schools, but it does have a bit of a reputation of being the party school of Boston (compared to Tufts, Harvard, BU, etc)
