if im rejected

I'm applying to Oxy ED, and will hear within the week. If I don't get in, does anyone know of similar schools that would be worth applying to. I really want a small liberal arts school with a strong science program, location doesn't matter too much. I want to major in biology or Pre-Med. Looking for a school focused on cooperation rather than competition.

Class Rank: 7/140

All honor classes

EC:

Class President (sophomore, junior, and senior years)

Classical Modern Dance (10 years, plan on continuing in college)
NHS
Tutor
All sorts of other things...don't feel like listing.

Any suggestions would be great!!! Thank You!

Does it help to tell you that I think you'll definitely get in?

You'll get in, no problem. Even so, you could also consider College of Wooster in Ohio. It has a great science program and is very strong on merit and need-based money.

thanks for both the assurance and suggestion. I'll look into it. Does anyone know how long it takes mail to get from CA to CT....I'm on pins and needles waiting for the letter to arrive!!

It's holiday season, so who knows how fast the mail will travel cross-country. ... My daughter has also applied to Occidental, but regular decision, so we have a while to wait. Best of luck to you!

thank you! Fortuntely, however, I don't need the suggestions. I got in with a dean scholarship. Good luck to your daughter!

Fantastic! Congratulations!
