If it's March and there is no hint of possible interview...

It's about 30 days until the decisions are declared, and I have not been contacted yet for an interview. I live in a huge city in California, where there is certainly a very strong and active alum network. Should I call/e-mail the admissions office/local Harvard club to see if perchance there is some issue in the processing of my app? or should I just assume that I have been rejected?
Thank you for any advice.

No and no.

It’s fine. You probably got rejected since the rejection rate is 95% or so, but that has nothing to do with the (allegedly) purely logistical process of assigning interviews.

don’t worry too much. I just received an interview a few days ago (I think I’m one of the last CC’ers who received an interview from Harvard)

I was contacted on monday for an interview friday, so it could still happen.
Harvard’s admissions office doesn’t decide who gets interviewed or not, the local Harvard Clubs just interview who they can. So not landing an interview is no indication of an impending rejection.
