If my personal/creative essay is a page and a half long (single spaced), is that too

long? I personally think that I did a good job on the essay but my only drawback is that it might be too long?

Do you think this is true? It is font 12, Times New Roman, Single Spaced, 1-inch margins. The total length is a page and a half and about 875 words.

I am trying to cut it down but lets just say I can't. Do you think this will hurt my admission chances?

Like will the ad. coms. not read it?

Thanks.

BTW, I skipped like five lines from the top of the first page in order to put my name, school, SSN, and title.

I would cut out the five lines at the top. I'd avoid having an essay tha tlong, but thats just me.

i'd say cut it down and make the heading (name, etc) part of the header so it doesn't cut into your space

My Georgetown essay was about that length when I thought I couldn't cut it down anymore but I've cut it down to about 680 words and everything sounds much more concise and overall better. So just see if you repeat ideas/words or use too many adjectives to cut down

Is it alright if I use font size 11?
