If no likely letter, does it mean i won't make it

<p>I was just curious since a few of my friends have gotten likely letters from varying ivy schools that whether all admitted students get a likely letter?</p>

<p>If I don't get one, am i still in the running?</p>

<p>I got a likely letter to Dartmouth though, but I didn’t end up there, so yeah.</p>
