<p>I have heard that if you are a college employee, your kids going to the same college get quite a break financially. Is this true? or it varies from college to college. Do your kids need to meet qualifying requirements or there is some sort of quota for college employees.</p>
<p>Some colleges may require that the employee works for the college before tuition benefits kick in (NYU/Cornell), while others (Columbia) offer tuition benefits from day 1.</p>
<p>In addition to what 3togo said, there may be different rates for faculty, administrators, staff as to what portion of tuition (number of credits will be covered).</p>
