If Princeton requires 2 SAT II subject tests, is there a benefit of taking more?

...or, are the admissions officers not going to consider more than 2 subject tests, even if the others are relatively high (730-800) scores?

Is it the same for Penn?

Something to consider about taking subject tests is whether the school uses them to determine placement level or to fulfill a requirement. Check out departmental links on the school’s website. Look to see if you can get language credit for a minimum score, or place into a higher level of math based on your subject test score. That might help you decided which tests to take and whether to take more than two.

Yes, I think there is a benefit to sending more if they are very high scores. It just shows academic strength in a broader range of areas. My kid did five.
