If re-applying to a school, will they still have things on file?

<p>For example, I applied to Cornell last spring and was rejected - would they still have my HS transcript on file or would it be necessary to send it again? </p>

<p>Also a question for the commonapp: since Cornell is already on it and I submitted the spring application to them in October, how do I submit a new one for this fall? If I try to add Cornell again in an alternate version of the application it returns "error: school is already on your list."</p>

<p>they might not all schools keep records of past applications. I suggest call the school and ask them</p>
