If someone improve his/her SAT score above 400 from the previous test total score...?

[Title], then will a college admission officer think critically, because they will be able to think how student can increase their scores so high......

if........(behind reason: studied during summer vaction) ?

I seriously doubt that you'd be hurt by a huge score jump unless there were some reason to believe that foul play was involved. I mean, hey, anyone can have a really bad testing day followed by a really good one. I doubt they'll give it a second thought.

PeteSAT is right. you might have done really bad on one test; because of illness or whatever reason; and then jumped 400 pts the next time because you were able to focus and consentrate.

concentrate*:)

typo!! I would have edited it but I can't now because you already posted. lol

I usually spell it right :)

So how did you do it ldu1207 :)?

Thank you, that makes sense~!

My S improved his SAT score by 350 points between April and June
How did he do it? Don't know--he just looked at some problems review books the night before the June test and took it much more seriously then the prevous time IMO

Watch out. If you improve by more than 400 points ETS sometimes nullifies your scores in suspicion of "testing irregularities" (aka You Cheated). So be prepared the first time you walk in that room!

wait, I have improved almost over 500 points already..._

how did you do it r3n?

well my first test was real bad, so I guess it's easier to increase points from lower score

r3n, i thought you already got a perfect score on the SATs...you even said you did in a one thread that I will find and show it to the whole CC community if you don't confess that you didn't.

Why are you still on this board if you already received a perfect score? seriously.

cliff hanger zhmeg? rofl
