I'm going to be a freshie next year, and I'm trying to to decide what clubs to participate in. I want to do FBLA, but the current executive crew is filled with sophmores, and I was just wondering if that means that they're the executive crew every year from now on.

Not every year in a row…I’m pretty sure that they will have to re-run for the position.

Usually they have to rerun at the end or start of each year.

FBLA bylaws require elections every year. They aren’t allowed to “claim” the position without running for it. However, it may just happen that they get elected every year until they graduate.

They re-run each year, but since they’re all both sophomores and incumbents, there’s a large chance that the majority of your chapter cabinet will remain largely the same for the next few years.

Which is pretty much why you “network” (just friend everyone you meet at conferences on FB) and run for a section/state position so you can become an ex-officio of the chapter or something… and still have a higher position than the incumbent crew. :P
