I attend the University of Georgia, love it there but i am sort of stressed about picking a major. i cannot decide between MIS and CS. I like technology more than i like business but the business school here is considerably better. will i learn enough with CS as a minor to still possibly pursue a career in that field if i choose MIS? or should i just major in CS even though the school is not as hiighly regarded. note that i came to school here because of how good the schools rep is and it seems like sort of a waste to go CS here
If you want to work in CS, you want a CS degree. Reputation doesn’t matter much, it’s about what you learn. It’s not a waste if that’s what you want to work in.
Go with CS. There’s nothing wrong with a University of Georgia CS degree.
