If there is a "W" on my transcript,
and i wanna transfer to another university, this "W" will be trouble for me to be admitted to the university?
the university like UMN UWM UMD UGA ?

I really wanna withdraw that class, cause that class is so boring, and now i have 5 classes, i am a freshman in university.

How many units will you be carrying it you withdraw? Is the course in your major field? A required course in any way? Need a little more info - your major, the dept for this particular course…

now i have 16 units, after drop it I will have 13 units.
and this is a general class, may be i can take it next year or take another general class.
by the way ,it’s a little relationship with my major.

13 units might look a little light when applying to a very competitive university. I am not sure and hope others might comment for you (who might have had direct experience).

Most Transfer Admissions officers are very helpful, so you could choose one or more of your target schools and give a call or email to ask this question.

It’s a shame to spend your hard-earned $$, and time, on a boring class. But if it is required, you can get it out of the way and keep your load at 16 credits… might be a little better.

Again, I’d want to know your major. For example, in Engineering a 13-credit load in the first couple of years would be EXTREMELY light and could well be held against you. Other majors, maybe not as much.
