If they haven't made a decision yet, does that mean Im rejected?

Cuz It seems everyone has their acceptance letters and no rejections yet. So does that mean the ones with no determination have been rejected?

Unfortunately, that seems to be the case. I am expecting a rejection letter in the mail sometime next week.

Not sure- I didn't know that I was accepted until like 2weeks ago when I got an email so you never know. I have a friend that didnt hear from Cal Poly last year until like late April because admissions are rolling. It usually means that they are taking more time considering your application- good luck!

Wow, thanks for the info, gives me a little bit of hope I guess. Late April seems pretty late though, considering you have to reply by May 1st.

I'm starting to think that's the case. I got my rejection letter when I applied last year on March 15th, and that's coming up pretty soon so I'm preparing myself for some bad news.

Hopefully we're wrong, though. Good luck to you!

No it is NOT the case.
I've been contacting SLO's ROTC for a while now trying to get that 4 year scholarship. However, they are delaying because SLO recently changed their acceptance programs to use peoplesoft, allowing us to see if were in even before department heads know who is in. Anyway to make things short, the professor of military science there at slo told me that he couldn't tell me anything about the scholarship yet when people are still being admitted this week.

So this week still brings hope to those who don't know yet.

Although my D did not apply here, I have it from a good friend who works in the admit dept that as of 2/14, they were reviewing and sending notices for apps received in the first week of November. According to my friend, if you submitted yours at or near the deadline, you will most likely not hear anything until the end of March. So, there is still hope for those who haven't heard!

I'm guessing since I sent my application two hours before the deadline, I won't expect a response from Cal Poly for another half a month.
That ruins everything. And why does the Architecture major have to be so competitive?! Sigh, another 15 days of anxiety.

Has anyone recieved a rejection letter yet? b/c it's about a week and a half until april 1st and i'm assuming that i'll get rejected.

Leirbag101, i was hoping that was the case but this can't be true. My first friend (4.2/1200s) applied a day before the deadline and got in about 3 weeks ago. My second friend (3.8/1300s) applied early november and still hasn't heard anything yet.

oh and they both applied for architecture.

julie: are those sat score on the 1600 or 2400 scale?

1300/2400? kinda sad...

lol.. my bad
just clarifying :D

Is it me, or has no one heard from anyone who got rejected to the architecture program so far, or any program for that matter. It's probably just me, but since I haven't heard from Cal Poly then I must have been rejected. Sigh. Thanks for putting my hopes down juliechoi06, haha. It's ok.

BUT Cal Poly has rolling admissions. So doesn't that mean the time you get your response (either accepted or rejected) vary? Or maybe all the rejections are sent last. Like during this upcomming week!

do u know by when people would know if they got in or not?

April 1st. It's comming up.

hahaha. yeahh
a lot of my friends havent heard back :/
and i wanna go w someone i know to the cultural wknd

i'm sorry Leirbag101. but if it makes you feel any better im going to san diego state b/c i didnt apply to any UC's. damn, i should've took my SAT II's so i could've at least got into santa cruz.

San Diego State isn't bad. It's the best state college (i think), minus Cal Poly though. Are you from San Diego juliechoi06 by the way, because I am. :)
