iam now taking OL accounting and AS bio i will be examined in them next november entry
the last year iam going to take AL bio and AL math
i want to be a doctor in usa or canada. the system there 4 years (bachelor) /4 years in (medical school) then 3-7 years residency.i want to know by taking AL bio and AL math do i still need to join bachelor before joining medical school.</p>
<p>Of course you have to finish bachelor before joining medical school, even though you have AL BIO and AL MATH. It’s because AL is only equivalent to SOME first year courses in US universities, so you can’t really substitute the medical school requirement with A-level. Moreover, the most important point is that they want you to finish bachelor degree before entering medical school, and A-level definitely no bachelor at all. Also, the main point that US/ Australian have this kind of system is that they think medical students should possess great responsibility, so they want students to be more mature than high school graduates to study medicine. Also, that way, students can have more time to consider their career. (That’s also the reason why it’s only four years in medical school compared to 5-6 years in UK.)Therefore, no matter how many A* you have, it doesn’t help you getting in the medical school at all. If you want to study medicine right away, then you have to study in UK.</p>
