Does that mean we didn't get in? Because NYU Stern is one of my top choices and I am really upset about all talk about the emails. 1470/1600 SAT and 97 average as of this last term. also 760+ on 3 SAT 2's...

hey baburov, no it doesn’t. Apparently, they’re doing the e-mails in waves. I have my fingers crossed…today I broke down like crazy because I did not get an e-mail. My friend who got an 1860 on the SATs got one and I didn’t-mine is slightly higher but NYU is still a reach for me. You have a better chance than I do…but pray for me too!

hey,

thanks for the hope =]

let me know if/when you get an email so i know when the next wave came!

I think the wave of emails is over. However, that does not mean your rejected! You still have a second chance. After looking at your stats, you still have a good chance of getting in. Don’t lose hope!

How do I still have a second chance? haha

damn, this sucks =[ hopefully at least waitlisted

April 1st, when they send out the “official” letters (or when you should receive it) While an email means acceptance, no email does not necessarily mean rejection.

I mean Macaulay did something similar with their decisions. They called everyone who got in about dorming and if you didn’t get a call, you pretty much didn’t get in.

But okay, I believe in hope =D

Just keep believing! :D

they’re planning on sending out another wave, called admissions.

Great, that will make many happy.

It’s one of my top choices and I’m really freaking out…
Let us know if u get an e-mail
Fingers crossed!

wow so confusing. I called admissions and they said that too. but others called them too and they said they weren’t planning on sending another wave!!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. the WAIT is KILLING ME!

:( me too. and it’s already a reach for me.

Well my friend got an email today from Stern and I still haven’t…

So we know another wave was sent out…

Today, they sent out official acceptance e-mails. However, it sounds like these are coming in waves as well, and some people who have received them didn’t receive the travel plans e-mail. There’s still hope.

Yeah, the friend I was just referring to never got the travel plans e-mail.

If these emails are coming in waves as well, they either have a sick sense of humor, a ■■■■■■■■ system, or some logic that I can’t even comprehend…

This is driving me insane.
