If we have completed our IGETC, do we still need to satisfy the 7-breadth req for CAL

If we have completed our IGETC, do we still need to satisfy the 7-breadth req for CAL?
I'd still need some other courses, and when would we need to complete it?

That's a good question! I actually want to know what also. Dasani25, you're talking about after getting into CAL right? Meaning do we still need to complete the 7 breadth requirement when we already have completed the IGETC as transfers?

No. It's either or, not both.

if u completed IGETC, you are done with GE. just finish the major requirement. It's actually a great benefit for transfer if they want to switch colleges or double major in two colleges.

Great! It's good to know you only need to complete the major and graduate! Thanks!

Thanks guys! :)

It depends on the major. For business admin, Berkeley's articulation agreement says the following:

"All of the required courses must be completed by the end of the spring term
prior to starting at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business. IGETC does not
satisfy these requirements."

izzy is right, not every major follows IGETC but the majority of them (almost all) do. Engineering is another major that they say not to follow IGETC for. In fact, I think it says that right on the IGETC sheet itself.

Isn't IGETC required for TAG programs at most CA universities?
