If we have to send our scores in electronically...

Does it matter what scores we put on the common app?

bummmmppppp!

You should fill out scores on the Common App truthfully, but, since they’re self-reported, making a mistake won’t matter much. It’s the official score report that matters.

My thing is, I’m re-taking the SAT in October but I want to be able to submit everything now. I guess I’ll just do everything but that and fill it in later.

Thanks!

You can certainly submit the app now and retake the test in October. Just make sure to send in the official score report after you take the SAT, that’s all, and there’s no need to update the common app with your new score or wait till then to submit.

I think you can indicate on the common app that you will be taking the SAT in the future by selecting the Oct test date and leaving the score part blank.
