Yeah, you’ll definitely get in! All you have to do is meet the minimum requirements and you have a great shot! Don’t let these guys pull you down.

not sure if serious, prob not.

Not at all. But if all you want is people to lie to you and make you feel better about it, that’s great, but it won’t help you get in.

Do something proactive, like retaking the ACT. I don’t know if Purdue takes a December test, but it can only help you. Those 8% below your GPA probably have really good ACT scores or are athletes. Your chances are low, but it still is possible.

I’ve seen your reactions in your MSU chance thread, and I think you need to understand a few things:

No one will be able to tell you the exact percent chance you will get into a school

People on CC are making guesses based on school acceptance stats. They cannot definitively give you an answer

With that said, they are doing a favor for you. You don’t have to agree with their opinion, but you could thank them for replying and leave it at that. What they tell you is their opinion on your chances - they do not know anything for sure. At times it may be inaccurate, but you need to look at the facts. In this case your GPA and ACT are both well below the middle 50 accepted. Consider that and do not blame those who chanced you for what your scores are and what Purdue’s average accepted scores are.

No, I saw someone on Naviance with a relatively low GPA and ACT and got in…and I don’t know anyone that is playing a sport at Purdue either.

** Actually your ACT is not “well below,” but it is still below the 25th percentile. The best thing you can do now is retake the ACT (like Welcome said). You can’t change your GPA at this point but you can retake tests, or take the SAT. And write a stellar essay and make sure you have strong recs

If you don’t want to listen to what I have to say then you could just ignore me instead of resorting to name calling. I’m giving you facts, I never “chanced” you, so don’t hate on me. It seems like you just want people to tell you that you have a good chance of getting in.

You don’t have to accept peoples chances for you (and you obviously aren’t) so why don’t you just leave it at that?

Middle 50 for Purdue:
ACT Composite 23 29

No? I just saw this thread for the first time about half an hour ago and felt compelled to make an account and reply, having lurked on CC for a few months now

why are you guys replying ? he’s obviously just ■■■■■■■■ for kicks. nobody can be this ■■■■■■■■.

Lol i just went through all of these posts and at first I thought Diesel was just a kid who was sad that his chances at Purdue were bad but yeah he’s definitely a ■■■■■, and a pretty good one at that. Some of you got Glazerized, but it’s ok, I was confused too

lulzzzzzzzzzzzzz

^I agree, he’s a ■■■■■. have you seen Diesel’s other posts? He does this on all his created threads? If he’s not a ■■■■■, then he’s the world’s biggest jerk.

Now I feel dumb for trying to reason with him

hi the problem with the below the 50% range in GPA or ACT/SAT is that pool is likely hooked. By hooked I mean recruited athlete, legacy or some other special attribute that the school needs. You already applied so good luck however unless you are hooked I would also find some safety schools.
