If you aren't trying to change careers does it still matter where you get your MBA?

I currently work as a Data Analyst II. I have two years experience as an analyst. I recently graduated (May ‘17) with a CS degree from a decent school (#223 on US News’ nationally ranked list). I am heavily considering an MBA to fast-track my career (so to speak). My alma-mater (Georgia State University) offers an MBA. Their full-time MBA isn’t ranked, but their part-time program is. This program is significantly cheaper than other MBA programs in my city that carry higher merit (Emory, Georgia Tech, UGA). Of those programs listed, the cheapest program is ~57k, where as the program at GSU is ~38k. Since I am not looking to make a major career change does it really matter where I get my MBA? And would the value between an MBA at Emory (ranked #20 full, #25 part) or GA Tech (Ranked #29 full, #30 part) and GSU (unranked full, #46, part). I want to make the decision based on what will make me the most valuable and allow for the highest career-growth. My current company offers 5k per year toward tuition.

Changing Careers is a big part of the demographic at University of Colorado Boulder, if you check out our blog Coloradombablog.com you can see the types of students come in to switch their careers. Good luck!
