If you can't visit ...

If you can't visit .. is there any way to show the admissions office that you are interested? I've already sent in the preapp data form .. and i'm going to ask for an alumn interview ..

I'd really love to visit .. but I live in GA and i don't have the money right now to spend on a flight to visit ONE college.. any suggestions?

D didn't visit but did prepare one of the scholarship applications. That was enough to show interest. Geographic diversity is a plus for you as well.

I know Wash U also sends out admissions representatives who give talks at schools in the evenings or on weekends. You can show interest by showing up at one of these too! Check mailings.....they should tell you about upcoming events in your area. I live in FL and they had several events throughout the state last year where you could listen to an admission rep talk about admissions, and sign in. These generally aren't that difficult to get to. Hope it helps

Also, try to do an alumni interview with someone in your area.
