<p>If I apply to Texas A&M, or UT at austin as a transfer student with a 3.5 GPA, and 24-30 college hours with community service, what are my chances?</p>

<p>hmmm…more info would be nice like SAT scores, ECs or something…but I think your good for A&M, texas is a match, depending on if your SAT scores are above 1900 or so. I’m also assuming that your gpa is unweighted…?</p>

<p>Hey cuban, thank for the reply back. In high School my SAT scores and GPA were awful. There’s no way that it would make a positive impact on good colleges, so the only thing i have going for me is my college GPA, but perhaps i can re-take the SAT, and hopefully get a really good grade.</p>

<p>Ur information doesn’t seem enough to me to make a more clear predictions (though I’m not really good at it even when there’s all the ECs)
can you put ur ECs, academic courses, and other tests too? And do you think you can evaluate your own essay and tell me whether its good or not? The same with academic teacher evaluations.
Just by looking at ur gPA and community service hours, assuming that your GPA had no APs and other rigorous courses, I say Tex. A&M and UT at Austin seem to be high matches.
