If you could cheat on the SAT would you?

Pretend that you were able to obtain a the full answer code to the SAT. What would you do?
a. Destroy it
b. Hide it away and pretend you never found it
c. Sell it
d. Use it to cheat and get a perfect 2400
e. [insert your own course of action here]

Haha, I'm curious what you guys would do.

I’d like to say I wouldn’t use it, but realistically I think I’d probably try to get a perfect score. I’d feel too guilty to cheat in a class because I respect the teacher and the work I do, but I don’t have the same kind of regard for the College Board and wouldn’t feel as guilty.

Pshh, considering the amount of money I’ve shelled out to CB, I expect much more than an SAT answer sheet.

C and D
10char

D except i wouldnt get perfect.
That’s just stupid.

Lol, so true.

Anywho, I like the score I got by myself, and I would feel bad about lying and cheating to get a few more points. And I really don’t have any time to take the SAT again before apps are due. So I’d hide it and pretend I never saw it. Maybe I’d give close friends a few hints.

uh, i wouldn’t trust the answer sheet. i’d rather figure the answers out by myself.

hope I did well enough on the essay

I wouldn’t do it because knowing that I cheated would be in the back of my mind all through college if the score was the reason I got in.

Hah. If I tried to cheat, I would make a few careless mistakes and end up with my current score.

well if you managed to obtain it, I would assume your intention would be to cheat, and at that point in the cheating you wouldn’t think to stop, even if you were like me with a 2330 and would have no material gain from getting those extra few points.

I don’t respect the College Board, so C.

C and D. I’d give myself a 2250+, great, but not too suspicious. Make copies are sell them for $50 ea.

selling = best way to get caught

I’d transfer the info from the cheat sheet in to my calculator. Then shred the sheet. The rest would be history.

Hypothetically, of course.

Took the words right out of my mouth

CB tests are not worth the effort to cheat.

^ This is a hypothetical in which you are handed an accurate cheat sheet and don’t have to put in any effort.

I wouldn’t go out of my way to cheat, but hey, if it’s magically in my hands I would do D. With ChoklitRain’s method: transfer to my calculator and then destroy. Then hope I 12’d my essay. Yay. And I wouldn’t feel guilty in the slightest for this particular scenario.

//^ This is a hypothetical in which you are handed an accurate cheat sheet and don’t have to put in any effort.//

Too much effort to hide it or memorize it.
