If You Could Choose...

The kids at S.G. went on a one day hunger strike last year because the school didn't have helicopter pad so I'll take Tabor.

Portsmouth Abbey or Canterbury?

Portsmouth Abbey

Groton or Middlesex?

The kids at S.G. went on a one day hunger strike last year because the school didn't have helicopter pad so I'll take Tabor.

NOOO!!!! Tell me that's not so! And please explain why this hasn't yet been shared in the Dark Side of Boarding Schools thread!

No answer to that last one. I'm too busy sticking scissors in my ears in hopes of removing the brain tissue that holds the visual that "fun is fun" just provided us. So, still on the table is this one:

Groton or Middlesex?

ARRRGHHHH!!!!

@fun is fun: I've been checking on the Internet about this and can't find a thing. Not a mention. Was it a joke? Was it a handful of kids? Was there a counter-protest? Surely there's more to the story than the student body getting worked up over a helipad in a way that they presumably don't get worked up over social justice issues around them. That's just a miserable factoid to drop without some explanation or a source. And, yet, if it's true and your description captures what the students are like, it's too important to just leave out there as one anonymous message board posters say-so. Whether it's to prove or disprove or simply clarify your claim, I hope you'll provide a source. Thanks.

EDIT: Oh yeah...the question still on the table is Groton or Middlesex?

lawrenceville or horace mann

L-Ville.

Westover or Emma Willard

I'm just passing on what I heard -- so many hedge fund babies at St. Georges wanted to be picked up in Daddy's chopper, that they went on a brief strike.

In other news, a similar walkout has apparently been planned at Hotchkiss if the school doesn't follow through with promises to open a branch of the Canyon Ranch on campus. I'm still trying to nail that one down.

Very hard one...DEERFIELD or ANDOVER

Andover.

Deerfield or Choate?

deerfield. Thankyou olivia XD

choate or kent?

Choate

National Cathedral School/St. Albans or Sidwell Friends?

Sidwell Friends

Westminster.

SGS or Groton?

Did you know that Emma, Dan, and Rupert (main actors in Harry Potter) went on an acting strike for two weeks because the crew wouldn't build them an amusement park?

Groton ~ THEY'RE ****IN RICH ~ LOLS...no it's a really good school

OMG if u swear there's stars? how lame.. ****

I doubt that's true- about Emma, Dan and Rupert going on an acting strike because they wouldn't get an amusement park. They used to be regular kids. They were picked out of school plays. And anyway, the sets were largely computerized.

SGS.

Oldfields or Emma Willard?

Oldfields..the campus is sooooo pretty but I don't know much about their academics..

St Pauls in New Hampshire or St Pauls School for Girls in London?

SPS in NH

freshman year or senior year (1st semester)

Freshman year. I love it when everything's new and you're still meeting people. Everything's old already by senior year.

International school or Boarding school?

Boarding School

Now pick:

Deerfield or Andover
