..how could that be a dump?

hotchkiss, groton doesnt seem very diverse to me. its funny cuz i used to not like hotchkiss but then i visited and itc ompletely changed my mind. :)

Lawrenceville or Milton?

Lawrenceville is in Lawrence Township, not Trenton

The village of Blairstown, which is next to campus, is quaint and charming. There is a highway district that one drives through to get to campus that is neither.

In my opinion, Blair has one of the prettiest campuses in the country.

NJ, like Connecticut, has awful cities. But like Connecticut, it has beautiful rural and sem-rural ares. In addition to those places, named by others, there are beautiful towns in the Somerset Hills, including Far Hills, Peapack-Gladstone, Bernardsville and others.

In addition to its 5 boarding schools, NJ has some first rate day schools, including those named above, like Pingry, Delbarton, Newark Academy and Princeton Day School.

Let's see if we can get this on track again...

Andover or Exeter?

Exeter. However, my Andover application was much, much stronger than the all of the others. I feel that I have a much stronger chance at Andover now and a worse chance at Hotchkiss, Deerfield, and Exeter.

Deerfield or NC School of Science and Math?

Deerfield.

Le Rosey or Harrow/girl's equivalent.

Hard, choice, but Harrow.
Athenian or Culver?

Athenian because Culver is in Indiana and it's a military academy. Athenian is in California, right?

Dalton or Collegiate for boys, Brearley for girls.

Yes, the Athenian is in the Bay Area.
Dalton's co-ed, isn't it?

Yeah.

I just meant you could either pick Dalton, or Collegiate if you're a boy and Brearley is you're a girl.

I get it now. Dalton.
Trinity or Spence?

Trinity.

Harvard-Westlake or Dalton?

Harvard-Westlake. It's in California and Dalton's full of druggies (a little tip-off for those of you who are jaded). The school has started to get better in the last couple of years but as a whole, it has a lot of sketchy kids.

Marymount or Sacred Heart (& if you know, which one's better academically?)
Or if you're a boy, St. Albans or Collegiate?

Definitely Collegiate. I was going to apply there when my dad was offered a job in NYC. Too bad he didn't take it...

Interlochen or Concord?

I thought you didn't want to go to an all-boys' school.
Concord.
Groton or Culver?

They were both all boys.

Groton.

St. Mark's or St. Paul's?

St. Pauls. But neither, really.

Marymount or Sacred Heart (& if you know, which one's better academically? I might apply to Marymount)

Please answer this only if you know. If you don't, ah well...

Why don't you like St. Paul's?

And isn't Marymount Catholic? I thought you were Jewish...

It seems like a stiff place. Stuffy. It reminds me a little of Groton.

And I am Jewish but none of the good coed regular schools are accepting applications for the 12th grade (and I'm not repeating. I want to go to college! lol) and neither are the girl's schools, but Marymount said they'd see if they had space. If I apply I'll probably get in, but I want to know how it compares to other schools.

Oh, I understand?

What college do you want to attend and what would you like to study?
